Classicality
I’ve been on a peculiar classical music bent lately, pulling dead composers off of Limewire and devouring their work. It’s nice to finally sit down and listen to the musical names I’ve heard, but have never put to a specific piece of music. Puccini, Saint-SaĆ«ns, Delibes. Holy cow, Delibes. If any of the people who happen to read this are helpful classical music fans, I welcome...

My first CHTV! Sam and all the production guys really did a great job on this one, and it looks like the internet loves it. I be dancin’ at the end of this video. Mad rhythm.

I just finished editing this, my last project for the Dartmouth Jack-O-Lantern (I assume, barring any sudden time-travel shenanigans.) It’s a short documentary on the DYE, one of Dartmouth’s most under-appreciated student groups. Thanks to Fred, Rogers, Tarzy, Laura C, Laura M, Tara, Sam, Dan and Bob on this one. Great job, guys, it was a blast working with all of you. Good to know...

I could complain about the movie’s artificiality and lack of coherence, but really none of it matters because it was still funny as all hell. The headliners were all dynamite, as you’ve probably read, but my favorite bits came from the scenes with J.K. Simmons (AKA J.J.J. from the Spider-Man movies). He plays the CIA exec following the main characters’ exploits, growing more and...

Secret Awarding
I stumbled across this while looking through my hometown newspaper a little while ago: Parsons receives academic award Owen Bernard Parsons received the Rufus Choate Scholar Award during the 2007-08 year. Parsons is the son of Joseph R. and Kathleen F. Parsons. That’s interesting. I wonder why I was informed of this by the Knoxville News Sentinel and not by, oh, say, my college. I might...

On Veckling
Having filmed a few videos in public areas, I’ve become familiar with the Video Heckler, or Veckler. This is the person who sees a film crew attempting to capture footage, and decides that it would be so funny to interrupt that film crew’s progress by shouting something in the background, or by pushing himself into the shot. Unfortunately, any real potential for hilarity in this...

Oh, right.
I forgot to mention that I’m interning at CollegeHumor now. On a scale from one to great, scientists rate this as a solid “fan-crazy-tastic.”

I’m going to go with no. Then again, I don’t get HBO, so I guess I’ll never have to find out.
