I have no problem with my fear of heights. When the human brain looks at a long drop, it’s naturally hardwired to flip out. After five million years of falling off cliffs, the evolutionary takeaway is that gravity works. So as a species, we shy away from looking down, right?

This could be made of concrete and I wouldn’t stand on it. But glass? An inch-and-a-half of glass? I’m petrified vicariously.
