“Tim & Eric” is one of my go-to comedy barometers, along with, among other things, Owen Parsons articles, wherein I will immediately dislike a person if they don’t find them hilarious. The irony of this is that Owen strongly dislikes “Tim & Eric”, but that’s only because he’s a pretentious Ivy League asshole.
This is an exceptionally flattering statement from a fellow comedy writer for whom I have tremendous respect.
But Conor’s right: show me a clip of Tim & Eric and you can watch my brightly-colored neck frills unfold and tremble with rage. Conor is to be forgiven for his favorable opinion of the program, as it is all-too-common among his sub-species of grunting, knuckle-dragging apemen.
