A perfect end to a perfect show. A little sooner than I would have liked, but still.

In spite of recent events, in spite of unfairness, and in spite of hyperbole, Conan was, is and remains one of the most enjoyable men to watch on television. It’s not that he simply ranks among today’s great comedians, but rather that his work embodies the forces of creativity, hilarity, and charm that seem to drive all of comedy forward.

Thank you, Conan. Thank you for SNL, The Simpsons, Late Night, Tonight, and everything else you’ve done to push forward the limits of what’s possible.
